Helen D. Michaels of Southampton, PA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 after a short stay at the Abington Jefferson Health Hospice in Warminster.  She was 91. 

Born in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Tatiana (Lopatchack) Kashay. She worked at Curtis Publishing in Philadelphia where she met and married her husband, the late Thomas G. Michaels with whom she shared 47 years of marriage.

Helen lived in Phila., Baltimore, MD, and finally settled in Southampton, PA where she remained for many years to raise her family with her loving husband. Helen was a devoted mother and homemaker. Most recently, she lived at the Bridges at Warwick, where she met new friends and wonderful staff.

Helen loved to travel with her husband. Their trips for business and leisure took her to many cities within the US and abroad. She took greatest pleasure in spending time at the Jersey Shore, where she spent many wonderful summer vacations with her children and grandchildren in Ocean City. Another fun favorite, was her overnight Atlantic City Casino trips with her three sisters.

Surviving are Helen’s children, Gabe Michaels (Michele Doheny) and Renee (Jim) Adamson; and her grandchildren, Kristen, Brian, Michael and Melissa.       

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 from 10:00 AM until her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at St. Jude Church, 321 W. Butler Ave., Chalfont, PA 18914.  Her interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.
