Kevin Bradford Knowles left us Friday afternoon, March 22.  Kevin was the son of Gertrude A. McDermott Knowles and the late Malcolm Elwin Knowles.

In addition to his beloved wife Sylvia and his mother Gertrude, Kevin is survived by his devoted sons Patrick, of Oakland CA, and Daniel (Jennifer) of Longmont CO. He is also mourned by Syvlia’s children Erin Pennypacker Barr (Ryan) of Sydney Australia and Ethan Pennypacker (Kate) of Macungie PA. He will be sorely missed by grandchildren Audrey, Chase, and Shawn. He is also survived by his brothers Daniel (Gail) and Matthew (Joanne), his sister Kathleen Lehman and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Kevin lived life to the fullest and was guided by his curiosity for all things both in and outside of the classroom. He was determined not to let his health challenges define him. He had an enthusiasm for life which extended from the classroom to his many world adventures. As a tireless teacher advocate, Kevin touched the lives of many through his passion for his students and his enthusiasm for life.   He will be remembered as someone who made a difference in people’s lives as a world traveler with his unique sense of humor, his storytelling, and his love of music. He had a unique ability to face any physical challenge with courage and optimism.

Kevin’s family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 27, 2019, from 9AM until his memorial service at 11AM at the Joseph A Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown–Richboro Road (at Holland Rd.), Richboro, PA 18954. His interment will follow at Union Cemetery in Richboro.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the PKD Foundation, PO Box 871847, Kansas City, MO 64131.
