Rebecca “Betty” Rotzal, lifelong resident of Chalfont, PA, died Tuesday, March 19, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. She was 93.

She was the loving wife of the late George F. Rotzal, Sr. and mother of the late George F. Jr. and Joanne Rotzal. Rebecca was pre-deceased by her 8 siblings.

George Sr. and Rebecca married in 1952, sharing almost 40 years of marriage. As a Navy wife, she gained independence and resourcefulness. She was a fierce supporter of her family. As the matriarch of the family, Rebecca was generous, kind and welcomed friends and neighbors in to her home. She liked to bake, visit the beach and always had pets in the home.

She was well-loved, and will be remembered for her gentleness and easy going nature.

Rebecca is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, John, Robert and Monica, and Peter and Susan. She had special and unique relationships with each of grandsons: Gregory (Amanda), Alexander (Jenny), Adam, Paul and Zachary. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Friday, March 29, 2019 from 10:30am, until the start of her Funeral Mass, 12:00pm, at Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Church, 1325 Upper State Rd., North Wales, PA 19454. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Cheltenham.
