Ellen I. Morba of Richboro passed away peacefully on Friday, March 15, 2019 at home with her daughter by her side.  She was 91.

Ellen was the loving wife of the late Joseph P. Morba with whom she had shared 54 years of marriage.

Born in Girardville, PA she was a daughter of the late Florie and Sophie Piccolo Panaccio.

Ellen was proud to have spent her career as a Registered Nurse, work that was very near to her heart.  She was part of the final graduating class of the Nurse Cadet Corps during World War II and went on to work in VA Hospitals both in New York City and Philadelphia. After moving to Levittown she went back to work part time as a nurse in the Obstetrics Department of Lower Bucks Hospital until her retirement.

Ellen kept herself busy wearing many hats which included being a very active member of the Ladies Auxillary at the John Billington VFW Post 6945 in Levittown and she was also active with senior groups at both St. Bede the Venerable and St. Vincent de Paul Parishes. Ellen also enjoyed gardening and will be remembered by all who knew her for willingness to help anyone and for her kindness and compassion.

Ellen is survived by her daughter, Mary Ellen Morba of Yardley; her brother, Dominic Panaccio and her sister Dolores Nark; as well as her extended family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 from 10:30 AM until her Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM in the Chapel of St. Louise de Marillac at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 654 Hatboro Rd., Richboro, PA 18954.  Her interment will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Eleanor’s Garden Hospice at 10125 Verree Rd., Ste. 202, Philadelphia, PA 19116.
