Nellie M. Dove of Bridgeville, DE and formerly a long time resident of Bucks County passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, March 15, 2019.  She was blessed to have lived 100 years rich with family, faith and love.

Nellie was the loving wife of the late Edgar A. Dove and devoted mother of the late Carolyn R. Kennedy.

Born in Petersburg, VA she was a daughter of the late Charles and Lula C. Feaster Hesse.

For Nellie family always came first and her devotion to them was without measure.   She always felt that along with her deep faith, these cornerstones allowed her to be blessed with a long, full, and active life.  She enjoyed travelling, cooking and being surrounded by those near and dear to her heart.

Nellie was very proud of her Christian Faith, read her Bible daily and felt that God was good to her each and every day.  Her fortitude and strength will be forever admired and her memory cherished by all those who knew and loved her.

Surviving are her children, Harold A. Dove (Brenda) of Anchorage, AK, James E. Dove (Rose) of Lakeland, FL, Sally L. Harman (John) of Baltimore, MD, Nellie “Sue” Butcher (Charles) of Dover, PA, Phyllis I. Gary (Charles) of Bridgeville, DE, David C. Dove (Hermaine) of Tamarac, FL, and Joseph C. Dove (the late Shirley) of Glen Burnie, MD.  She also leaves behind 22 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren; and her sister, Maxine Golizen.

In addition to her husband and her daughter, she was preceded in death by four siblings.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Thursday, March 21, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 PM and on Friday, March 22, 2019 from 10:00 AM until her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.), Richboro, PA 18954.  Her interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville.
