Maude “Kay” Miller, of Doylestown, PA died on Sunday, March 10, 2019, at Neshaminy Manor Home, Doylestown. She was 95.
She was the wife of the late Wilfred Howard Edwards and Harry Wayne Miller and sister of the late David and Harry Still.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of Harry and Maude Uber Still.
Maude was a resident of Doylestown, PA for twenty-six (26) years. What can you say about a woman whose purpose in life was to make every stranger a friend and every friend feel loved. Maude had a kind heart, good soul and a gregarious nature that made everyone glad to be in her company. She wasn’t one for traditional hobbies; after starting each day reading inspirational script, Maude would immerse herself in whatever movies filled the schedule on the OLD movie channel. What Maude enjoyed most was spending time with her family, who she adored, and attending any social situation that gave her a chance to engage in fun banter or serious conversation. Her children all feel blessed having inherited at least some of Maude’s best qualities that made her a truly special person.
She is survived by her four children Candice K. Kehoe and her husband Fred of Hatboro, Geoff Edwards and his wife JoAnne of Doylestown, Bruce Edwards and his wife Kathy of Hatboro, and Terrance Edwards and his wife Chun Ling of Horsham. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren
Her family will receive relatives and friends from 9:00AM until her Funeral Service 10:30AM on Friday, March 15, 2019 at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 E. Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Rd.), New Britain, PA 18901. Her interment will follow in Beulah Cemetery, New Britain.
In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to a charity of donor's choice.
