Robert "Bob" C. Williams passed away peacefully on March 9, 2019. He was 76.
He was the beloved husband of Arlene F. Williams for 52 years.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Howard and Sally Ann Williams.
Bob and Arlene met when they were cadets in Civil Air Patrol at Northeast Philadelphia Airport. After high school, Bob worked as a draftsman and worked his way up to more responsible positions. He attended what was known at the time as Drexel Institute for Technology evening school. After graduating with degrees in Electronic Engineering, Bob worked for companies doing work for the US Department of Defense. He spent 30 years combined working at the Johnsville Naval Air Development Center in Warminster and the Naval Air Station Patuxent River in Maryland. For a short period of time, he ran a small business known as Omni Electronics and Manufacturing in Ivyland. Bob was a family man who was committed to providing for his family. He enjoyed sports on TV and trips with family and friends.
In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by his loving children; Kelly Williams – Brey and her husband Andrew, John Williams and his wife Michelle, and Karen Fradley and her husband Joe, as well as his 5 grandchildren; Peter and Samantha Brey, Emelia and Ava Williams, and Jackson Fradley.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 10:00 AM until his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at St. John United Methodist Church, 820 Almshouse Rd., Ivyland, PA 18974. His interment will take place privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob's name may be made to St. John United Methodist Church, 820 Almshouse Rd., Ivyland, PA 18974.
