Anna M. Cornell of New Hope died Friday, March 8, 2019 at Chandler Hall in Newtown surrounded by her loving family. She was 86.

Anna was the beloved wife of the late Andrew J. Cornell.

Born in Abington, PA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Bessie Fox Southwell and the mother of the late Thomas Cornell.

Anna had married her late husband Andrew in 1952 and had lived on his family farm in Richboro. She eventually lived in Newtown and had resided in Buckingham for over 10 years. She had worked with her late husband Andrew for many years assisting him with his Christmas Tree business and also would sell home made seasonal décor at the farm. Anna was a waitress with various eateries in the Newtown and Richboro areas and was known to many along with her late husband Andrew for their support and involvement in community affairs. She will be deeply missed by her family and by all who came to know her.

Anna is survived by her devoted daughters; Donna Cote and her husband David and Robin Johnson and Joseph Krut of Levitttown and her sister Dolores Scott of Forest Grove. She is also survived by her 5 loving grandchildren, Brian Cote, Daniel Cote, Heather White, Joseph Linsky and James Johnson and her 6 great grandchildren, Rayhan, Owen, Cassandra, Logan, Lily and Liam.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing from 9:00 am until his Funeral Service 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 16^th in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954. Anna’s interment will follow at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Prospectville, PA.
