John T. Poprik, of Buckingham, PA died on Friday, March 8, 2019. He was 71.

He was the beloved husband of Patricia K. Poprik (nee Press) for 50 years.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late John and Claire Poprik (nee Dunn).

John was a resident of Buckingham for 22 years having moved from Richboro.  He graduated from Father Judge High School in 1965 and Drexel University in 1970 with a degree in Accounting.  He served as the CFO of Better Materials Corp before becoming the CFO of Sommer Maid Creamery for 26 years.

John most recently served on the Pennsylvania Unemployment Compensation Board of Review.  He also spent many years serving on the Northampton Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority, the Bucks County Drug and Alcohol Commission and he was the Treasurer for numerous political campaigns.

John loved fishing, antiquing and being with his grandchildren. 

In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his son Brad Poprik and his wife Nicole of Robbinsville, NJ, and his son Matt Poprik and his wife Tram-Anh of Lincroft, NJ; his siblings, Barbara & Joseph Stefano, Eileen & Michael Press, and Susan & Joseph Vettori; and his dear aunts Maryann and Annemarie Dunn and his five nephews.  He is also survived by the 5 loves of his life, his grandchildren; Lauren, Jessica, Carson, Logan and Lila.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.), Richboro, PA 18954 and on Thursday, March 14th there will be a visitation in St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Road, Holland, PA 18966, from 10:00am until his Liturgical Funeral Service 12:00pm. His interment will be held privately.
