Robert E. Williams of Richboro passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania with his family by his side. He was 68.
Robert was the loving husband of Diane Kantor Williams with whom he shared 42 years of life, happiness and love.
Born in Plainsfield, NJ he was the son of the late Edward and Blanche Martin Williams.
Bob and his family have been residents of Bucks County for 20 years and had formerly resided in both New Jersey and New York. He spent his career with Bristol-Myers Squibb, retiring from his role as a Toxicologist after over 30 years of service.
Bob was an avid golfer and was known for stealing time on the golf course whenever he could. He was a social butterfly and always savored the moments he was surrounded by those he loved, especially vacations with his family at the Jersey Shore. Bob will be remembered for being quite the character and for his excellent sense of humor and sarcasm which kept everyone around him smiling.
Most of all, he was a devoted family man, who cared for others beyond measure and for always putting others before himself. He will be dearly missed.
In addition to his wife, Bob leaves behind his children, Jennifer Barrett (William) of Hillsborough, NJ, Kimberly Gafas (Eduardo) of Mantua, NJ and Bradley Williams of Philadelphia. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Amelia and Alexandra Barrett, Eduardo Gafas IV and Emma Gafas; and his sisters, Carolyn Williams and Kathleen Burkhart.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Monday, March 11, 2019 from 9:00 AM until his Funeral Service 11:00 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.), Richboro, PA 18954. His interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Richboro.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, 34th & Civic Center Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19104.
