John D. Pahmer of Newtown died peacefully surrounded by his beloved family on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Chandler Hall Hospice in Newtown. He was 79.
Born in New York City, John enjoyed a successful career in advertising and sales in the direct marketing business. He and Suzanne Roper were happily married for more than 40 years. He found great pleasure in music, especially classical, opera, and jazz. A lifelong learner, in recent years he dedicated himself to studying bridge to improve his game and learning Italian.
John will be greatly missed and eternally loved by those whose lives he touched. In addition to his wife Suzanne, John is survived by his loving and devoted children; Allyson L. Pahmer of Arlington, VA and John D. Pahmer, Jr. of Nashville, TN.
