Patrick J. Duffy, III, of Churchville, died at home, on Wednesday, February 20, 2019. He was 13 years old.
Born in Abington Hospital, he was the beloved son of Patrick and Catherine (Curry) Duffy. Patrick is predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Mary (Furry) Curry and his paternal grandfather, Patrick J. Duffy, Sr.
Patrick and his family lived in both Penndel and Southampton before moving to Churchville. He attended Maureen Welch Elementary School and currently was a student at Holland Middle School.
Known for his love of sports, Patrick played baseball, football and was a wrestler. He enjoyed going to various sporting events, riding his bike, playing video games, and hanging out with his many friends.
He will be missed and remembered for his love of art and drawing.
In addition to his parents, Pat and Cathy, Patrick will be always be in the hearts of his sister, Charlotte Rose Duffy; his paternal grandmother, Anne R. (Adams) Duffy; his maternal grandparents, David & Lisa Curry and their son David. He is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet Patrick’s family on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 from 8:30 am, until the start of his prayer service, 10:15am at the Joseph A. Fluehr, III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954. His burial will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, PA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Patrick’s memory may be made to Yellow Ribbon, P.O. Box 644, Westminster, CO 80036.
