Elsie D'Agostino of Richboro, formerly of Huntingdon Valley, died peacefully on Friday, February 15, 2019, at Holy Redeemer Hospice. She was 94.

Born in Philadelphia, Elsie was the beloved wife of the late Leon D’Agostino, daughter of the late Otto and Dorothy Witter Schuman, sister and sister-in-law of the late Robert Schuman and William and Peggy Schuman.

Elsie was a resident of Huntingdon Valley for many years before moving to Richboro. She was a graduate of Olney High School, class of 1942. She worked for several years for PGW, as a payroll clerk before joining O.P. Schuman and Company as Office Manager.

Elsie and her late husband enjoyed traveling and taking pictures, so when she got home she could place all those memories into photo albums. Her family and faith came first and foremost, she was an active member of the Church of New Life, Huntingdon Valley, participating actively in the Dorcus Circle and teaching Sunday school. Girl friends have been important, especially her 9 sorority sisters that have been getting together for so many years that they stopped counting.  She will be sadly missed by her devoted and doting family and friends.

Elsie is survived by her loving children; Dot Wikler and her husband Scott and Lee D’Agostino and his wife Sue, a brother and sister, Walter Schuman and his wife Betsy and Doris Spink and her husband George and 1 sister-in-law Joan Schuman. She is also survived by 4 dear grandchildren: Meghan Blackburn (Joe), Matthew Wikler (Michelle), Leo and Josh D'Agostino, 2 great grandchildren: Ellie and Mac Blackburn.

Elsie’s family will receive condolences on Saturday February 23, from 10:30 am until her Memorial Service 11:30 am at the Addisville Reformed Church 945 Second Street Pike, Richboro, and Officiating will be Pastor Robert Schuman. Entombment will be private.

Memorials in her memory may be made to either Addisville Reformed Church 945 Second St. Pike Richboro, PA 18954 or Warrington Fellowship Church 1455 Cooper Lane Warrington, PA 18974.
