Joseph W. Hassell of Newtown passed away suddenly at home on February 5, 2019.  He was 57.

He is survived by his beloved wife Tracy (nee Miller), loving father to Daniel, devoted brother of Robert and Christopher Wetzler, and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the Temple University School of Law, Joe had a thirst for knowledge and was a voracious reader.  He loved spending time with family, especially making Christmas special for all.  His love of family extended into being the family historian, making sure no one’s memory was lost.

Joe was a caring father who made every event in Daniel’s life extraordinary. He was a thoughtful, humble, reserved, and generous person who enhanced the lives of those who knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 from 10:00am until his funeral service 11:00am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.), Richboro, PA 18954. His interment will take place privately.
