Roylene Ann Wahler, of Warwick passed away peacefully on Monday, February 4, 2019 at Abington Hospice at Warminster with her loving husband and family by her side. She was 77.
Roylene was the loving wife of Fred R. Wahler, with whom she had shared 54 years of marriage.
Born in Coronado, CA she was the only child of the late Royal Gould and Rita Gould McPhillips. She is also predeceased by her step-father, Frank McPhillips.
Roylene will be greatly missed and remembered as a devoted wife, a loving mother and grandmother, and a treasured friend. Known for her compassion and gentle ways, she was a favorite religious director and CCD teacher among her students at St. Ephrem’s School in Bensalem. She loved animals and was always quick to lend a hand or help in any way that she could. Above all, her family was her priority and she enjoyed time spent together immensely.
In addition to her husband Fred, Roylene is survived by her children and their spouses, Fred R. Wahler, Jr.; Rita Adlyn Englebreth, and her husband Gregory; and Joseph Francis Wahler and his wife Tracy; her grandchildren, Amanda, Ryan, Addie and Ava; her sister-in-law, Geraldine C. Hicks and numerous friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Friday, February 8, 2019 from 9:00 AM until her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at St. Cyril of Jerusalem Church, 1410 Almshouse Rd., Jamison, PA 18929. Her interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery Bensalem.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gilda’s Club of Bucks County, 200 Kirk Road in Warminster, PA 18974.
