Robert F. Opuszynski of Philadelphia died Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Wesley Enhanced Living in Philadelphia. He was 83.

Robert was the beloved husband of the late Gloria E. Opuszynski.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Francis and Rose Opuszynski.

Robert was a former resident of the Mayfair community of Philadelphia before moving to Wesley Enhanced Living. He had worked as a postman and retired after 30 years of distinguished service. Additionally, Robert also worked at Barclay Caterers in Philadelphia for over 35 years. He was known for his bubbly personality and his keen sense of humor and acute wit. Robert will be deeply missed by his family and by all who came to know him.

Robert is survived by his daughters; Gloria McKenna and her husband Kieran and Donna Marie Opuszynski. He is also survived by his brother Francis Opuszynski, his grandchildren, Erica Jean and Kieran and his great granddaughter Kayleigh Ann.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Friday, March 1^st from 9:00am until his Prayer Service 10:00am in Wesley Enhanced Living, 8401 Roosevelt Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19152. Robert’s interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem.

Robert’s family request that everyone in attendance would wear his favorite color red in his memory.
