Edward P. Wisniewski died suddenly at Doylestown Hospital on Sunday, February 3, 2019. He was 72.

Born in Philadelphia, Ed was the beloved husband of 50 years to Catherine M. Gallagher Wisniewski and the son of the late Edward L. and Regina E. Hopkins Wisniewski.

Ed worked for the Federal Government in the Health and Human Services Agency and he also worked with the Philadelphia Inquirer in their Mailer Department.  Since his retirements from the Federal Government and the Philadelphia Inquirer, Ed enjoyed spending time in Ocean City, NJ with his dear friends and with his beloved family.  He was an avid reader of literature and a daily reader of the Newspaper, enjoyed watching baseball, but above all, Ed cherished surrounding himself with his family.  Ed will be greatly missed, but forever loved by everyone who was loved by him throughout his lifetime.

In addition to his wife Catherine, Ed is survived by his loving and devoted daughters: Catherine Jennifer Burns and her husband Liam of Swedesboro, NJ, Regina “Deenie” Totten and her husband Joel of Milford, NJ, and Erin Marie Wisniewski and her husband Jim Chester of Newfield, NJ.  He is also survived by his sister Donna M. DeMarco, his seven dear grandchildren: Caitlyn, Emma, Kieran, Colleen, Rachel, Regina, Annie, and his niece Tina DeMarco and her son Zack.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Thursday, February 7, 2019 from 10:00AM until his Funeral Mass 11:30 AM at St. Jude Church, 321 W. Butler Ave., Chalfont, PA 18914. His interment will be private at St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont, PA.
