Michael Lee Maser Jr. of Horsham passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 1, 2019.  He was 32.

Michael shared 19 years with the love of his life, Marissa Taylor.  He also leaves behind the light of his life, he and Marissa’s son, Michael Lee Maser III for whom his love was without measure.  

Born in Abington, he was the son of Lisa J. DeLucas (Bob Oliver) of Warminster and the late Michael Lee Maser Sr.  

Michael graduated from Hatboro-Horsham High School and following the call to serve his country, he immediately enlisted with the United States Marine Corps, serving actively until his Honorable Discharge in 2010.  During his time in the Marines he was awarded the Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal, among many others. He served proudly as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom as an Osprey Crew Chief.

It is nearly impossible to put into words the man that Michael was. He was loyal, caring, and loving with a quiet sensitivity, making him one of the most genuine people you could ever meet. Michael had a passion for reading, a desire to learn, and had a gift of absorbing every bit of information around him. Michael possessed a quick wit, was talented with his hands, creative and had a knack for problem solving and figuring out how things worked.

For Michael, the world was made right because of the people who he shared it with and he will be dearly missed as a loving companion, father, son, brother, grandson, nephew and uncle.

In addition to his mother, Marissa, and son Michael III, he is survived by his sisters, Carrie Catron-Gillman (Dan) and Cathy Catron (Tom Mitchell); his Nieces and Nephews, Alyssa, Ava, Cole, Kayla, Ayden, and Logan; his grandmothers, Zackie Myers and Gail Maser; and Marissa’s Parents, Roland Taylor and Rosemary Rockwood.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 from 10:00 AM until his Memorial Service 11:00 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd., Richboro, PA 18954. His interment will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Prospectville.
