Victoria DiMattia, of Chalfont, PA died unexpectedly on Thursday, January 31, 2019, with her family by her side. She was 70 years old.

She was the beloved wife of the late Robert DiMattia,

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Virginia Mahan Mertzig; and sister of the late Anthony Mertzig. She is also pre-deceased by her late brothers-in-law, Charles Ferullo and George Vellios.

Vicki was one of a kind.  Her spunky attitude and fun for life ways were what made her who she was.  She loved to be with family, especially her grandson, Jax, gamble, go out to dinner, Manhattans, music and the shore. She was amazingly strong, but most of all loved by many.

Victoria will be deeply missed by her children, Kristen Renee Hammond (Timothy) and Anthony Robert DiMattia; her grandson, Jax Hammond; and her sisters and brother-n-law, Virginia Ferullo, Veronica McMahon (Joseph) and Valerie Vellios. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews with whom she shared close-knit relationships.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet Victoria’s family on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 from 8:00am, until the start of her Prayer Service, at 10:00am at the Joseph A. Fluehr, III Funeral Home, 241 E. Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain, PA 18901. Her interment will take place privately.
