William J. Linaberry, of Perkasie, PA died on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at Pine Run Health Care. He was 89.

He was the beloved husband of the late Judy E. Chinn Linaberry

Born in Stroudsburg, he was the son of the late Stanley S. and Marion M. Inman Linaberry and great-grandfather of the late Evelyn. C. Elder.

William was a resident of Perkasie for the past 25 years before moving to the Pine Run Community in 2017.

Bill was raised in Bristol and was a graduate of Bristol High School, class of 1947.   He received his Bachelors Degree in Mathematics from Temple University. He was a proud member of the United State Marine Corps, serving in Korea. Bill’s professional career was varied, in his early years he owned and operated a used car lot with his Dad; he also had a taxi company for a few years. As he matured he went to work for RCA as an electronic technician for several years before joining Kollsman Co., of Dublin and later with Ametek- US Gauge and Steel Company of Sellersville as Chief Engineer, retiring in January of 1994.

Bill enjoyed spending time at his vacation home on Lake Wallenpaupack in the Poconos, fishing and hunting. Bill enjoyed collecting coins, had a wealth of knowledge and a keen interest in automobiles and airplanes that friends loved to talk about with him. He will be sadly missed for his sense of humor and sincere manor.

Bill is survived by his devoted children: Diane Elder and her husband Richard of Wichita KS, William D. Linaberry and his wife Michele of Little Egg Harbor NJ, Linda White and her husband Fran of Perkasie, Richard J. Linaberry and Elky Sabonger of New Hope, Scott T. Linaberry and his wife Andrea of Perkasie and their Mother Joan Kline Linaberry, his 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his step-daughters; Lori Messner and her husband Gary and Lisa Park and her late husband Timothy.

His family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 am until his Funeral Service 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 241 E. Butler Ave.(at Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain. His interment with Military Honors will be held at 1:00PM in the Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Disease Association, 399 Market Street Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
