Rodney Dwayne James passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He was 40.
He was the beloved husband of Jaime James. Married on 10/10/2010, the couple shared 8 wonderful years of marriage.
Born in Seneca, SC, Rodney is the son of Dennis and Dixie Roach James. He is predeceased by his maternal grandparents Charlie and Frances Roach; his paternal grandparents Jessie and Louise James; Aunt Frances Pruett, Uncle Harvey James, Uncle Bob James, Aunt Faye James and Mac, Rodney’s retired explosive detection canine and beloved family guardian whom the family lost in 2017.
Dating back to Rodney’s childhood, he had a lifelong love of the Atlanta Braves and the game of baseball. No matter what city he called home throughout the years, he found a way to watch and listen to his Braves’ announcers.
In addition to his wife and parents, Rodney is survived by his cherished daughters Ally and Aubrey James; and will be missed by many special aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 6:00-8:00pm and again on Friday, January 25, 2019 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM, when a time of sharing will occur, at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.), Richboro, PA 18954. His interment with military honors will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
