John J. Neiley, Jr. of Newtown passed away on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Chandler Hall Hospice. His loving wife and family were by his side. John was 46.
John was the devoted husband of Karen Stewart Neiley with whom he had shared 19 years of marriage.
Born in Philadelphia he was the son of Carol Pierson Neiley and the late John Joseph Neiley, Sr.
John attended Nativity of Our Lord School, Archbishop Wood High School for Boys and Temple University School of Engineering. He was employed by Cryo Technologies as a Senior Project Engineer, a job he truly loved. As such he traveled to China, Poland, Russia, and throughout the United States. Although he enjoyed traveling and trips to the shore with his family, John was a homebody. He and Karen loved DIY projects and spending time with the boys in their own backyard, swimming in the pool, gardening, and often inviting his family and friends for a barbecue. John was also an avid fan of Temple and Philadelphia Sports teams. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his wife and sons, Logan and Sean, John is survived by his mother and sisters, Carol Ann McDonald (Dennis), Maggie Mullen (Dave), Diane Neiley Doody (Joe), Jennifer Neiley (Dominick Paciolla), and Amy Neiley. He also leaves behind his mother-and father-in-law, Donald and Sandy Stewart and his sister-in-law, Lisa Stewart.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather and celebrate John’s life on Friday, January 18, 2019 from 10:00 AM until his Memorial Service at 12:00 PM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.), Richboro, PA 18954. His interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, an education account is being established for John’s sons. Contributions may be made out to “Benefit account for the children of John Neiley” and mailed to Cryo Technologies at 241 N. Cedar Crest Blvd., Suite 1, Allentown, PA 18104.
