Dorothy V. Price passed away peacefully on Friday, January 11, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was 81. Dorothy (Dot or Dotty) was the beloved wife of 54 years to the late Raymond Price.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Victoria (nee Zielinski) Baranek and the sister of the late Edward and Thomas Baranek.

Dorothy was a former resident of the Fishtown and Torresdale communities in Philadelphia before moving to Holland in 1970.  She was a parishioner of St. Bede the Venerable Church in Holland. She worked for US lead, Garret Metals, and Dr. Dombkowski. She enjoyed dancing, baking, reading, yard care, and family vacations including camping.

Dorothy will be remembered as being a loving mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who came to know her. She is survived by her loving children; Raymond V. Price and his wife Irona, Victoria L. Chinnici and her husband Christopher, and Robert J. Price and his wife Annemarie, as well as her 3 grandchildren; Megan, Craig and Erin.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 9:30am until her Funeral Mass 10:30am in St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Rd., Holland, PA 18966. Her interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Friends of the Twp Library of Library of Lower Southampton, 1983 Bridgetown Pike, Feasterville, PA 19053-4493, or to the VFW National Home for Children, 3573 S. Waverly Road, Eaton Rapids, MI 48827.
