Jeanne Kropp Schnitzler, of Yardley, PA, died Thursday, December 27, 2018 at the Hospital of the University of PA. She was 55 years old.

She was the beloved wife of Thomas Schnitzler; and while the couple was married for 27 years, they met in high school and shared 38 wonderful years together.

Jeanne was the daughter of Henry Richard Kropp and the late Patricia Monahan Kropp.

Jeanne will be greatly missed for her outgoing and gregarious nature, and her signature bear hugs. She had an ability to connect with people and make friends in all aspects of her life. She was very active in leading and coaching the Pennsbury Recreational Basketball League. She loved to play tennis and spend summers at the family house at the shore. Above all, her husband and children were her priority, and time spent with them was always a good time.

In addition to her husband Thomas and father Henry, Jeanne is survived by her cherished children, Luke, Benjamin and Remy Schnitzler; her siblings, Richard Kropp, William Kropp, Irene Kropp and Kerry Kropp Watlington; the Schnitzler family, and many nieces, nephews and close friends.

Family and friends are invited to greet the family from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm on Friday, January 4, 2019 at the Joseph A. Fluehr, III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 10:30am at St. Ignatius of Antioch Church, 999 Reading Avenue in Yardley, PA 19067. Her interment will take place privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jeanne’s memory may be made to Stev’s Wish or Luke’s HEROin Me. These two charities honor two young men who were near and dear to Jeanne and the Schnitzler family.
