Charles Stirzel Jr. of Richboro died Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Chandler Hall Hospice surrounded in the company of his loving sons.

Charles was the beloved husband of the late Jeanne E. Conrad Stirzel.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Charles Sr. and Laura Stirzel

Charles was a long time resident of Bucks County and had resided in Richboro for over 55 years. He was a proud veteran who had served as a Fireman First Class in the Navy during World War II. Charles retired with over 40 years of dedicated service as a Shipping Supervisor with Crane Chempump in Warrington in 1992. In his leisure time, he was a trumpet player performing with Big Bands and a motorcycle enthusiast who enjoyed riding his motorcycle for many years. He was a charter member and active member throughout his life with the Advent Lutheran Church in Richboro.  Charles will be deeply missed by his family and by all who came to know him.

Charles is survived by his two sons, Brandt and Andrew Stirzel, both of Richboro and his sister Vivian Royal of Warminster.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 10:00am until his Funeral Service 11:00AM at Advent Lutheran Church 45 Worthington Mill Road, Richboro, PA 18954. Future interment will be held along with his late wife Jeanne in the Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Advent Lutheran Church.
