Theodore, F. Foedisch of Newtown, PA died peacefully on October 25, 2018 at age 91. Beloved husband of Mary Barrett Foedisch; Brother of George (Rose) Foedisch, predeceased by his sister Irene Kehres, and brother Franklin Foedisch. Loving step-father to Robert Harris, Karen Harris and Craig Harris (Karen Shamberg Harris) and Gramps to Trevor, Kylee and Ruby. Ted was also a devoted “Uncle Ted” to Renie Kehres, Denise Krechmer, Elvin Kehres, George Foesdisch, Steve Foedisch, Kim McMahon, Kurt Foedisch, and Brian Foedisch.
Ted worked as a Healthcare Administrator for the majority of his career. He was a leader as the industry began to grow and change and was an active member and past president of PA Healthcare Association (PHCA), 1981 - 1983. He served in the Army Air Corp during WWII, and was a Commander for American Legion Post 754 and the PA Department Commander for the American Legion from 1967 to 1968. Ted was generous, family oriented, loved to make people laugh, and travel both domestically and internationally.
Ted’s family will receive condolences on Friday from 11:00 am, until the start of his funeral service at 12:30pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr, III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954. Interment will take place at a later date, and with military honors, at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
