Carol G. Cameron, a 26 year resident of Chalfont, went Home to Heaven on Sunday, October 7, 2018, at Doylestown Hospital.  She was 90.

She was the beloved wife of 68 years to John (Jack) Cameron, Jr.  Born in Savannah, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Florence Gaillard, mother of the late Robin E. Roossinck, sister of the late Jack Gaillard, and Jeanne Cleland (late Robert).

Carol was a graduate of West Orange (NJ) High School, class of 1946.  Carol worked as a typist and secretary for 6 years at the Insurance Company of North America in Newark, NJ, where she met and married the love of her life, Jack, together sharing love, laughter, and family for 68 years.

Carol enjoyed reading, gardening, and Colonial History, and enjoyed collecting books and antiques.  Over the years she greatly enjoyed trips they took to Williamsburg, VA, and almost yearly (60) trips to Cape Cod.  She will be remembered by those who knew her as a loving and caring woman who embodied her faith as a Christian gathered to the Lord’s Name.

In addition to her husband, Carol is survived by her devoted son; J. Scott Cameron and his wife Nancy, 2 brothers; Theodore Gaillard (late Jean), William Gaillard (Valerie), 1 sister, Florence Thompson (late George).  She is also survived by her dear grandchildren:  Heather Roossinck, Ryan Roossinck (Kara), Matthew Cameron (Casey), Evan Cameron, and Colin Cameron, and one great granddaughter Harper Jean Cameron.

Carol’s family will receive condolences on Friday, October 12, 2018, from 11:00 AM until her Funeral Service at 12:30 PM at the Joseph A Fluehr III Funeral Home, 214 E. Butler Ave (at Sandy Ridge Rd), New Britain. Interment will be private.
