Staff Sergeant Craig M. Pennell, of Riverside, NJ passed away surrounded by his loving fiancé and family on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Cooper University Hospital. He was 35.
Craig was the loving fiancé and best friend of Sarah Bubnis with whom he had shared life and love for the last 7 years.
Born in Willingboro, NJ he was the son of Cindy Lallo Rambo (Warren) and Donald Pennell (Ann).
Craig graduated from Riverside High School and was proud to serve his country with the United States Army for the last 17 years, attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. His passion for serving others continued with his dedication as a Lieutenant with Delran Fire Company, Station 232.
Words don’t do justice to Craig’s infectious energy, warm smile, and hugs that simply could not be competed with. He brought love and laughter to everyone around him and you could feel his positivity from the moment you were in his presence. He was devoted to his family and friends and was looking forward to marrying the love of his life, his beloved Sarah. Craig shared his bright spirit without reservation and his memory will be forever treasured by anyone who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
In addition to his fiancé and his parents, Craig is survived by his brother, Shaun Rambo; his sister Lori Jones (Daniel); his grandmother, Grace Lallo; and his sister-in-law Tara Rambo (the late Michael); and nephew, Christopher Rambo.
Craig was preceded in death by his siblings, Michael, Amy, and Joseph Rambo.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 9:30 AM until his Funeral Service 12:30 PM at the Delran Fire Company, Station 232, 1020 S. Chester, Ave, Delran, NJ 08075. His interment will follow in Oddfellows Cemetery, Burlington.
