Charles T. Mistic, Sr. of Wycombe died Tuesday evening October 2, 2018 at his home. He was 83.

Born in Pittsburgh he was the beloved husband of 52 years to Virginia Shirar Mistic, son of the late Michael Mistic and Marian Bates Mistic Mitchell and brother of the late Mechelle Mistic and Judson E. Mistic.

Charles was a graduate of Pennsbury High School, class of 1953, his professional career spanned 41 years as a Passenger Services Representative with the Pennsylvania Railroad, Penn Central, Conrail and Amtrak. He spent most of his time either at 30th Street Station or Penn Central Station in New York. He also worked in the Freight division of the railroad for several years in Camden, New Jersey.

Charles was a long time member of St. John United Methodist Church, Ivyland. He was a member of the Woodside Newtown, Masonic Lodge # 427 F& AM and the Shriners. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, NASCAR racing and working on antique cars, especially his El Camino. You could also find him working with his LGB train collection.  Charles will be sadly missed by his devoted family and many friends. 

In addition to his beloved wife Virginia, he is survived by his children;

Donna Demusz and her husband Timothy, Charles T. Mistic, Jr. and his wife Cheryl, Randy Mistic and his wife Melissa and Stacy Greene and her husband Brian. He has 1 brother, Rev. Michael Mistic and his wife Ruth. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Saturday October 6, from 9:00am until his Funeral Service 10:00am at St. John United Methodist Church, 820 Almshouse Rd. Ivyland, PA 18974. Interment will follow in Newtown Cemetery, Newtown.

In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 3551 N. Broad St. Phila, PA 19140.
