Norma E. Houser, resident of Bucks County, died peacefully on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Abington Jefferson Hospice at Warminster. She was 88 years old.

Norma was the beloved wife of the late Raymond “Jim” Bollendorf, and Raymond Houser, to whom she was married for 18 wonderful years.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Reuben and Gertrude Klein Dyke, and sister of the late Walter Dyke.

Norma was hardworking and diligent. She made friends easily and people were drawn to her caring ways and genuine personality. As the mother of a large family, she took pride in hosting family get-togethers. Christmas was her favorite holiday.

In addition to her husband Raymond Houser, Norma will be missed very much by her children and their spouses, Norma L. and Mickey Haynes, Donna E. Kennedy, Steven R. and Sue Bollendorf, Nancy M. and Mark Shup, and Linda Dampman; her 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; and her brothers, Thomas Dyke and Gil Dyke.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Friday, October 5, 2018 from 11:00am, until the time of her Funeral Mass, 12:00pm, at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Rd., Holland, PA 18966. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem, PA.
