Rosalie “Rose” J. Gorniak passed away peacefully at her home in Holland on Monday, October 01, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was 80.
Rose is survived by her husband Joseph P. Gorniak of 60 years.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter to the late Vincent Maryanski and Ann (Caterino) Maryanski Smurda, and mother to the late Anthony Gorniak.
In addition to her husband, Rose is survived by her loving children; Michele Haas (Joe), Darci Gorniak, and Sharon Wright, as well as her 5 grandchildren; Joseph (Julie), Jamie (Chris), Tyler, Ashley, and Mozart, her 3 great-grandchildren; Aidan, Hudson, and Remi, and her two sisters; Esther Schlosser and Christine Aguado (Frank).
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Monday, October 8, 2018 from 10:00am until her Funeral Mass at 11:00am at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Rd., Holland, PA 18966. Her interment will take place on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 10:00am at St. Dominic Cemetery, 8502 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19136.
