Joyce E. Hepting (nee Staiger) of Feasterville died suddenly Wednesday February 5, 2014. She was 59.
Joyce was the beloved wife of 27 years to Richard M. Hepting.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late John and Dorothy Miller Staiger.
Joyce was a former resident of the Mayfair section of Philadelphia before moving to Feasterville in 1987. She had worked as a Teacher at the Children’s World in Yardley and at the Malvern School in Richboro for over five years. She was Leader with the Girl Scouts for many years and had volunteered her time with the Assumption B.V.M. Parish in Feasterville and at the St. Katherine Drexel School in Holland. Joyce will be deeply missed by her family and by all who came to know her.
In addition to her husband Rich, Joyce is survived by her daughter Renee Hepting of Feasterville, her brother Jay Staiger of Manlius, NY, brother-in-law Edward Hepting of Philadelphia, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing from 7:00-9:00pm on Thursday, February 13th in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954 and from 9:30 am until her Funeral Mass 10:30 am on Friday, February 14th in the Assumption B.V.M. Church, 1900 Meadowbrook Road, Feasterville, PA 19053.
Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Assumption B.V.M. at the above address.
