Mary E. “Meg” Garrity, of Warminster and formerly of Philadelphia, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2014, at Chandler Hall Health Care. She was 77.

After graduation she began working as a cashier in grocery stores in her area, and eventually became a shop steward at Pantry Pride in Philadelphia. She then moved on to a clerk position at Jack’s Camera in Feasterville, eventually becoming the manager. Meg retired after many years of service packaging medication for the Sharps Packaging Services. She was a member of the United Food and Commerical Workers Local 1776 and their retirees club in Philadelphia.
In addition to her photography, Meg enjoyed flower gardening, her cats Shadow and Little Bit, and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her best friend of over 60 years: Doreen Garner; her niece: Macie Schlernitzauer and her husband John of King of Prussia; her nephews: James Garrity and his wife Alexandria of Wayne; Thomas Garrity of Grantville; Mark Garrity and his wife Elizabeth of Marlboro, NJ; John Garrity and his wife Sharon of Red Lion; Patrick Garrity of Arlington, VA; and Joseph Garrity and his wife Paula of Alexandria, VA; 15 great nieces and nephews and 11 great great nieces and nephews with one on the way.
