Joseph F. Schneider, III of Holland, died peacefully at home on Monday, September 3, 2018. He was 87 years old.

He was the beloved husband of Elaine J. (Fazio) Schneider. The couple was married 58 years.

Born in Bloomsburg, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph F. II and Mae Tye Schneider; father of the late Jacqueline Arcieri and brother of the late Richard Schneider and Anna Mae Ripple.

Joseph was a graduate of Drexel University and had been employed for 27 years with Mobile Oil as a chemical engineer. He enjoyed his career; and he and his family were fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel extensively both domestically and internationally.

In addition to his wife, Elaine, Joseph will be missed tremendously by his children, Joan Schneider, Joanne Talbot, Joseph Schneider, IV and Thomas Schneider. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren, Sarah, Samantha, Brady, Wyatt, Kate, Camille and Corbin.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Saturday, Sep. 8, 2018 from 9:30am until the start of his Funeral Mass, 10:30am, at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Rd., Holland, PA 18966. His interment will take place privately.
