Michael F. Denski of Wauwatosa, WI, passed away Friday, August 10, 2018 at the Milwaukee VA Medical Center.  He was 99. 

Mike was born in the Brewerytown Section of Philadelphia and formerly lived in Northeast Philadelphia.  He moved to Wauwatosa, Wisconsin in 2013 with his primary caregiver, his daughter Rosanne.

Mike served in the 29^th Infantry Division of the U.S. Army during World War II participating in many battles including the invasion of France on D-Day and the subsequent Battle of St.-Lo. Mike was a proud member of the Philadelphia Police Department, retiring as a Lieutenant in 1969.  Mike also worked for the security department of Sears & Roebucks.  He was a member of the Brewerytown-Fairmount All Timers Sports Hall of Fame.

Mike was preceded in death by his beloved wife Florence (nee Mastropietro), his parents and siblings.  He is survived by his four children: Stan (Cheryl), Rosanne Helbig, Julie Cardy, Joe (Julie) and his cherished grandson Michael Cardy (Jessica).

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his graveside service on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 10:30 AM in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, 1215 Old Lincoln Highway, Langhorne, PA 19047.
