Joseph A. Collins of Bensalem died Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at Pine Run Health Care in Doylestown. He was 89.

Joseph was the beloved husband of the late Nancy Byrne Collins.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Joseph Sr. and Margaret Collins.

Joseph was a resident of Bensalem for over 40 years before moving to Doylestown. He enjoyed an accomplished career as a Banking Executive with First Pennsylvania Bank and eventually with City Federal Bank in New Jersey until his retirement. In his leisure, he enjoyed playing golf, vacationing in Wildwood, NJ and also served as the former President of the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church Senior Club. Joseph will be deeply missed by his family and by all who came to know him.

Joseph is survived by his children; Mary Anne Wuestkamp and her husband Dennis of New Hope, Joseph Collins and his wife Mary Ann of Elkton, MD, Gary Collins of Yardley and Nancy Portner and her husband Marc of Jamison. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren: Tracey Sloan(Stephen), Dennis Wuestkamp(Jessica), Thomas Wuestkamp(Jane), Michael Collins(Christy), Nick Collins, Chelsea Portner, Caroline Portner, and Olivia Portner and 7 great grandchildren: Hunter, Justin, Matthew, Cole, Kyle, Alexander, and Chloe.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family from 9:30 am until his Funeral Mass 10:30 am on Saturday, August 18^th at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA 19020. Joseph’s interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem.
