Spencer Allen Parker of Philadelphia and formerly of Newtown died suddenly on Friday, February 14th. He was 23.

Born in Toledo, OH, Spencer was the son of Anthony A. and Dawn M. Parker, and the grandson of Marilyn A. Kreger and the late Charles, and Hurland and Grace Parker.

Spencer was a 2012 graduate of Queens College (CUNY) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, and a 2008 graduate of Holy Ghost Preparatory School in Bensalem, PA. Spencer was employed at Barnes & Noble College in Philadelphia, and worked independently as a freelance writer. He was also an avid reader with a passion for literature and film. He will be greatly missed by all who have come to know and love him.

In addition to his parents, Spencer is survived by his sisters, Angela M. Kaiser (Kevin) of Dallas, TX and Abigail M. Parker of Newtown, PA; and by his brother Nicholas A. Parker of Brooklyn, NY. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

His funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 19th at 11:00AM in the Church of St. Andrew, 81 Swamp Rd. Newtown, PA 18940. Interment will be private.
