Cynthia M. Stankiewicz Goldner of Langhorne passed away peacefully on Friday, July 27, 2018 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.  She was 61.

Cynthia was the loving wife of Dean Goldner with whom she shared 36 years of marriage.

Born in Philadelphia she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Genevieve Loncki Stankiewicz.

Cindy graduated Magna Cum Laude from Temple University (1981) with a BBA/Computer and Information Science degree.  She worked as a programmer analyst for The Federal Reserve Bank, PMA, and Dunn and Bradstreet.  After the births of her sons, she devotedly cared for them as a stay-at-home mom until they attended school. To Cindy, her proudest accomplishment by far was being a loving mother who raised exceptional children.

She enjoyed traveling and cherished sailing throughout Barnegat Bay, the Chesapeake, and the Caribbean Islands.

Most importantly, Cindy will be remembered for her grace and perseverance in the face of adversity.  Although she became severely disabled by Multiple Sclerosis in 2003, Cindy didn’t let that diminish her faith and optimism.  She was always cheerful and smiling; the true meaning of being an inspiration. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her devoted husband, Cindy is survived by her children, Eric and Marc Goldner; her grandson, Ian Goldner; her brother Raymond Stankiewicz and his wife, Maureen; and her sister, Evelyn Mockus and her husband, David; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family as they celebrate Cindy’s memory on Saturday, August 4, 2018 from 10:00 AM until her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Andrew, 81 Swamp Rd., Newtown, PA 18940.  Her entombment will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery, Huntingdon Valley.

For those desiring, memorial donations in Cynthia’s name may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Philadelphia Chapter, 30 South 17th Street, Suite 800, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
