Dorothy M. (Brewer) Moore, of Holland, PA, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, July 13, 2018. She was 92 years old.

Born in Corona, CA, she was the daughter of the late William and Adelphia Gilbert Brewer.

Dorothy truly enjoyed her job at the Philadelphia Zoo. Beginning her career as a seasonal worker, she retired in 1988 as Souvenir Buyer/Manager after 33 years.

While her work ethic and love of her job were important, nothing held a greater spot in her heart than her family and friends.

Her children, 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren will miss her dearly, and wish to thank her friends, neighbors, caregivers and doctors at the Twining Village Community. Having been a resident for 20 years, she will be missed for her caring and compassionate nature and her friendly and outgoing ways.

Funeral services were held privately.
