Jerry J. Bregensir, longtime resident of Churchville, PA, died peacefully with his family by his side on July 6, 2018. He was 80 years old.
He was the beloved husband of Rita Nucifora Bregensir for nearly 60 years.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Thomas and Florence Benigno Bregensir and brother of the late Gary Bregensir. Jerry proudly served in the US Marines, having completed tours in Korea and Lebanon and obtaining the rank of Sergeant.
In addition to his wife, Rita, Jerry will be sadly missed by his daughters and sons-in-law, Rita and Edward Clarkson and Dawn and Phillip Helverson. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Eddie, Deanna and Sean; and also his sisters, AnnaMay Pestacchi, Roe Pecora and Florence Mooney.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Jerry’s visitation on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 from 9:30am until the start of his Funeral Mass, 11:00am, at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Rd., Holland, PA 18966. Interment will follow St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Delaware Valley Chapter, 399 Market St.; Ste. 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
