Edwina L. Vittoriano of Newtown, PA died peacefully on Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at her grandson’s home in Bensalem surrounded by her family. She was 85.

She was the beloved wife of Aladino R. Vittoriano for 65 years.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Anton and Antoinette Wydrych.

Mrs. Vittoriano was raised in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia and attended St. Adalbert School. She graduated from Mastbaum High School, Class of ll946. For 22 years she was a communications police operator for the Pennsylvania State Police, Troup M, in Trevose, PA.

Edwina loved animals and was a conservationist. She was a contributor to the Animal Resource Center. (ARC Foundation) She also worked closely with the Game Warden in animal rescue and salvage ensuring that the animals that couldn't be saved, wouldn't go to waste.

In Edwina's passing, she joins her son, Ronald and is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Aladino, her daughter, Diane, three grandsons, Evan, Matthew, Brandon, and three great-grandsons, Owen, Lucas, and Noah.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, February 21, 2014, from 9:00 AM until her Funeral Mass 10:00 AM at Olde Church of Saint Andrew, 135 S. Sycamore Street, Newtown, PA 18940.

Interment will take place in Saint Andrew Cemetery.
