Helen T. Farrell, of Leonardtown, MD died peacefully on Monday, May 28, 2018, at St. Mary's Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was 97.

Born in Tremont, PA, she was the daughter of the late James and Sarah Wolf Farrell.

Helen graduated from Tremont High School and worked as a nurse’s aide and as a home companion into her mid-80s.  She loved taking care of her nieces, nephews and their children. 

She was a tough yet sweet Irish girl who would stop everything for chocolate.  For the past 3+ years, Helen lived in Leonardtown, Maryland where she received wonderful care from the nurses and staff of St. Mary’s Nursing Center.

She is survived and lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and extended family.

Her services and internment were held privately. 

If you wish to honor her wonderful life, she would have wanted you to treat a friend to lunch and enjoy chocolate ice cream for dessert.
