Barbara H. Bonsall of Doylestown passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Abington Hospital – Jefferson Health. She was 81.

Barbara was the devoted matriarch of a dynamic family and loving wife of William C. Bonsall Jr., former special agent with the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office.

Born in Abington, PA she was the daughter of the late George and Helen Rohrbacker Parsons. She lived most of her life in Willow Grove, PA, and became a resident of Doylestown, PA a few years ago.

Barbara was a vibrant soul and bright light to all who knew her. She

was a person who walked into a room and made it her mission to bring smiles to everyone’s face. And sure enough, she did. With a contagious laugh, radiant smile, and eyes as bright as blue stars, she was someone who made the world a better place just by being herself. She was an active 81, with passion for adventure and travel, good food, board and card games, and a routine night cap of ice cream. Barbara was a beautiful person inside and out. She loved fiercely and lived life to the fullest with abundance of family and friends who will miss her every day.

In addition to her husband, Barbara is survived by her children, Kim Kemper and Donald Kemper, Jr. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Kendra Arteaga (Patrick Solliday) and Arianna Schimek; her great-grandchildren, Julian & Jacob; and her siblings, Frank Parsons (Patricia Parsons) and Betty Roach (the late Clint Roach). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy McClean.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 10:00 until 10:30 AM when her Memorial Service will begin at Salem United Church of Christ, 186 E. Court St., Doylestown, PA 18901.

Her interment will be held privately.
