Arthur J. Curry of Newtown died peacefully on Monday, May 14, 2018, at St. Mary Medical Center.  He was 86.

Arthur was the beloved husband of 51 and a half years to Jane K. Taylor Curry, loving father of the late Thomas Curry and grandfather of the late Millee Kerner.

Born in New York, NY, he was the son of the late Robert, Sr. and Theodora Grauzlis Curry and brother to the late Robert, John, and Richard Curry.

Arthur was a man of various interests who especially enjoyed traveling with his family, spending time at his home in Spain, cooking for family and friends, and photography.  Any time he tried a new hobby or had a new interest, Arthur always fully immersed himself into that interest or hobby.  Arthur will be greatly missed, but the love his family and friends had for him will endure eternally.  

In addition to his wife Jane, Arthur is survived by his grandchildren, Rachel Curry and Stefan Curry, and his great grandchildren, Quinten Curry-Hall and Sebastian Rivera.  He is also survived by his sisters, Dolores Garrick and Elizabeth Balzano, his sister-in-law Nelly Curry, his daughters-in-law Jane White and Milli Kerner, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Arthur’s family will receive friends on Monday, May 21, 2018 from 2:00pm until his Memorial Service at 3:00pm at Ascension Lutheran Church, 900 Washington Crossing Road, Newtown, PA 18940.  Interment will Interment will follow in the Memorial Garden at Ascension Lutheran Church.
