John "Jack" W. Gormley, of Warminster, PA died on Monday, May 14, 2018, at the Rose Garden at Ann's Choice. He was 91.

He was the beloved husband of 64 years to Joan Wagner Gormley.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Charles and Hannah McNamee Gormley, grandfather of the late Daniel Wagner Gormley and brother of the late Rev. Charles Gormley and Richard Gormley.

Jack worked at the former Edgecomb Steel Company for 45 years. It was there that he met the love of his life, Joan. Jack was beloved by all in his family. He told great stories and “sang” wonderful songs at all the family gatherings. He now joins the chorus of angels singing Irish songs in Heaven.

In addition to his wife Joan, he is survived by his four children, John D. Gormley and his wife Susan of Abington, William Gormley and his wife Theresa of New Castle, DE, Jeanne Drabinski and her husband Walter, of Cudjoe Key, FL and Daniel Gormley and his wife Candyce Chimera of Lansdale, and his brother William Gormley.  He is also survived by his eight grandchildren: Christopher, Matthew, Nicole, Shawn, Peter, Emma, Lauren and David. 

His family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 9:30 AM until his Memorial Service at 11:00 AM in the Chapel at Ann’s Choice, 31000 Ann’s Choice Way, Warminster, PA 18974.  His interment will be held with Military Honors at 1:00PM at  Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
