Patricia E. Kirkwood of Doylestown, PA died peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Christ’s Home in Warminster on Saturday, May 12, 2018. She was 68.

Patricia was the beloved wife of 18 years to James J. Kirkwood Sr.

Born in Harrisburg, PA she was the daughter of the late Murray and Gladys Strohman Swingly.

Patricia worked for many years with Kaplin, Stewart Attorneys at Law.  She enjoyed playing the Violin, cultivating various plants and flowers, but she cherished every memory she helped to create with her husband, children, and grandchildren.  Patricia will be greatly missed, but eternally loved by everyone who has had the pleasure to have known her and to have been loved by her.

In addition to her husband James, Patricia is survived by her children: Richard Weir of Ligonier, PA and Jennifer Miller and her husband Steven of Phoenixville, PA.  She is also survived by her step children: James J. Kirkwood Jr. of Perkasie, PA and Jessica A. Kirkwood and her husband Kevin Kelly of Decatur, GA her nine grandchildren and her brothers Murray Swingly and Thomas Kerstetter. 

Relatives and friends are to attend her viewings on Friday, May 18, 2018 from 7:00 to 9:00PM and on Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 9:00am until her Funeral Service 10:00am in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 E. Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Rd.), New Britain, PA 18901.  Interment will follow at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler, PA.
