Kenneth C. Heintz Sr. of Warminster and formerly of Langhorne died peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Friday, May 11, 2018.  He was 71.

Ken was the beloved husband of 48 years to Isabella “Charline” (Ford) Heintz.

Born in Philadelphia, Ken was the son of the late Charles and Marie J. (McDonnell) Heintz.

Ken was a proud Veteran of the Air Force who served the country during the Vietnam War.  He graduated from Frankford High School in 1965 and entered the Air Force in November of that year.  Upon his return from Military Service, Ken started a career that spanned 30 years with Amtrak.  Shortly after his retirement, he began consulting for AECOM on a light rail project for Long Island Railroad.  He was known by his family and friends as a person that was quite handy around the house, who tended to have the ability to fix most things that needed attention.  He enjoyed gardening and traveling with family to oceanfront destinations.  He also cherished all the times he spent at home with his beloved family.  Ken will be greatly missed and eternally loved by everyone who has had the pleasure to have been in his life.

In addition to his wife, Charline, Ken is survived by his loving sons: Kenneth C. Heintz Jr. and his wife, Marcia, of PennsPark and Christopher Heintz and his wife, Victoria, of Yardley.  He is also survived by 6 grandchildren: Isabella, Justin, Kendall, Chelsea, Miranda and Addison.  He will also be missed by his brother, Donald Heintz and his late wife, Helen, his sister, Nancy Postnieks and her husband, John and numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 10:00 AM until his Funeral Service 12 Noon in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd., (at Holland Rd.), Richboro, PA 18954.  His interment will follow with Military Honors at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to St. Mary Cancer Center, 1201 Langhorne-Newtown Rd. Langhorne, PA 19047.
