Our Beloved Rosemary H. Smith of Newtown, PA passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at St. Mary’s Medical Center at the age of 70.  She passed peacefully with family and friends at her bedside.

Rosemary was born in Philadelphia to the late Norman P and Doris Carr Harvey.  She was preceded in death by her siblings Angela Shultz and Norman P Harvey Jr. as well as by the love of her life, late husband John Smith.

Rosemary was truly a student of life.  Her desire to always be learning began in grade school at Holy Cross, grew steadily through her formative years at Mt St Joseph’s high-school, and on through college at Gwynedd Mercy University.  It was that focus and dedication that pushed her to excel as an insurance claims specialist, the career which she adored so much.

Rosemary’s depth of love and devotion to family and friends was immediately evident to all who spent even a modicum of time with her.

Rosemary “Roey” leaves behind a legacy of whole-heartedly embracing life, family, and friends which will be continued on by her: twin brother John Harvey & wife Dianne of Ohio, daughter & son-in law Gretchen Elizabeth & Ryan Sherman of Oregon, daughter Amy Lewis of Florida, dear step-son Greg Smith & partner Shannon Burke of Ambler, as well as beloved step-daughter Gab Klotz.  Perhaps closest to Rosemary’s heart were her grandchildren: Stella Sherman, twins Max & Zoe Lewis, Simone Klotz, and Margaret & Palmer Smith in whom she will forever live on.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Thursday, April 26 2018 from 5:00pm until her 6:00pm Memorial Service at Joseph A Fleuhr III funeral home at 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd (at Holland Rd) Richboro, PA 18954.  Her interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations made in Rosemary’s name to Nittany Beagle Rescue, P.O. Box 127, West Decatur, PA 16878.
