Barbara C. Wilson of Southampton Estates died peacefully on Monday, April 23, 2018, at Abington Hospital-Jefferson Health, Abington, PA. She was 80.

She was the beloved wife of 59 years to William J. Wilson.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Evelyn Renn Cunningham and mother to the late W. Charles Wilson.

Barbara graduated from Germantown High School and went on to earn her Bachelors of Education Degree from the University of Pennsylvania.  She graduated from both high school and college first in her class.

After her children were grown, Barbara led a long career as an insurance agent, spending most of her time with Adlen-O’Brien Insurance Agency.

Barbara was an avid reader and most importantly treasured time spent with her devoted family, especially her granddaughter.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two sons: Jeffrey D. and James J. Wilson and her granddaughter Taylor.

Barbara’s family will greet friends on Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 11:00am until her Funeral Service 12 Noon at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown Richboro Road (at Holland Rd.), Richboro PA 18954.  Her interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery in Roslyn, PA.
