John B. Lally, of Holland, died peacefully on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Crestview Center in Langhorne, surrounded by his loving family. He was 98 years old.

He was the beloved husband of the late Margaret Revelis Lally; father of the late John B. Lally, Jr; father-in-law of the late William Duffy; and brother of the late Kathryn Pentz and Marcella Komp.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the youngest child of the late John Patrick and Kathryn Brown Lally.

John was a longtime and very active parishioner of St. Cyril of Jerusalem Church. He was an avid sports enthusiast and particularly enjoyed following his beloved Phillies, Eagles, and The Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. He was a proud veteran having served in the Army Aircorp during WWII.

With his infectious smile, John had a personality that drew people. His family was of utmost importance and he will be missed tremendously by his children and their spouses: Catherine Kaufell (Lou), Jacqueline Duffy, Frank Lally (Dawn), Patrick Lally (Jennifer), James Lally, and Matthew Lally (Christine); his 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren, and many special nephews, cousins, and nieces; including Marcy Wolk, who held a special place in John’s heart.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend John’s visitation on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 9:00am until the start of his Funeral Mass, 11:00am at St. Cyril of Jerusalem Church, 1410 Almshouse Rd., Jamison, PA 18929.
